Rebel TMC MPs Shift Loyalty to BJP, Alleges Kalyan Banerjee

TMC MP Kalyan Banerjee has accused rebel Trinamool Congress MPs of aligning with the BJP, citing their reported meetings with senior BJP leaders, including Bhupender Yadav and West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari. He alleged that the dissident leaders have shifted their loyalty from Mamata Banerjee to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Banerjee challenged the rebel MPs to face TMC workers and voters in their constituencies and claimed that democratic values in West Bengal are being replaced by autocratic practices. His remarks come amid growing speculation over internal divisions within the Trinamool Congress.
