Swiss President Guy Parmelin, during his State visit to India, highlighted the strong and longstanding India-Switzerland partnership based on shared democratic values, trust and mutual respect. He received a Guard of Honour at Rashtrapati Bhavan in the presence of President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Parmelin also welcomed the opportunity to mark the first anniversary of the India-EFTA Trade and Economic Partnership Agreement (TEPA), calling his visit a step towards further deepening bilateral ties.
